Family-run restaurant serving traditional and very good dishes. Excellent service. There were about ten of us, a group meal for an association, and it was a very enjoyable time.

A regular, though not a regular, I used to stop at this restaurant. Working at the Pau courthouse, I couldn't make a reservation; I knew when I'd be going in, but I never knew when I'd be leaving. Today, or rather yesterday, I stopped in. The very courteous old gentleman told me that the kitchen had told him not to take any more customers. I nodded and was about to leave when I heard an elderly woman, who must have been the owner, say to me from a distance, "Anyway, you have to make a reservation," in an aggressive, fishmonger-like tone. I can't stand gratuitous and idiotic rudeness, or even smugness, but what I can't stand most of all is stupidity. Politeness isn't something you learn at her age. I probably won't be going back. I'd already noticed her lack of friendliness, but this time she crossed the line. After a certain age, especially in the restaurant business, you pass the torch. It's a shame because the other waitress in the back room was very pleasant and polite. One grain of sand that thinks it can do anything and the machine seizes up, and you don't know when the engine will give out.

Second visit Back in the Pau region, we returned to see you as mentioned during our previous visit. Still as wonderful as ever, excellent service and superb cuisine; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves once again. Perfect value for money. Of course, we will gladly return during our next stay (we live in the Vaucluse). First visit Passing through the region, we (4 adults) had lunch at this restaurant on the recommendation of our friends. A very warm and friendly welcome, a professional and very kind waitress, quality home-style cooking, and generous portions. A very pleasant dining room and spotless restrooms. Truly excellent value for money. It's a shame we live so far away... but we will return as we are regularly in the Pau area.

Excellent value for money. Simple but generous and high-quality dishes! The owner and waitress were very pleasant. What more could you ask for? A little restaurant like the kind you wish you could find more often. Third visit and just as satisfied as before.

Great restaurant! We come here for lunch with colleagues or family. The food is reminiscent of Grandma's cooking. Very well-balanced and generous portions. The staff is pleasant and very efficient. A rare but very enjoyable experience!
