Passing through the area with my family, we discovered this superb restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic and very pleasant, the dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, and the colorful cocktails delighted our taste buds. A major plus: our four-legged friends are welcome.

A very long wait for a dish (fish of the day) which was very disappointing. I usually come here for the atmosphere, the good service and the quality of the food, but today I was really disappointed.

We arrived at noon and weren't served until 2:30 pm, which is extremely long, especially without any real explanation. The food arrived cold, which is a real shame after such a long wait. As for the service, one waiter was pleasant and professional, but the other staff members were rather cold and inattentive. The overall experience was therefore disappointing. It's a shame because the setting is nice, but between the excessive wait and the cold food, it doesn't make us want to come back.

18/02/2026: A very pleasant place with friendly and highly professional staff. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. A restaurant definitely worth a visit, especially considering the splendid view.
08/02/2026: We enjoyed our meal on the terrace with a magnificent view. The dishes were generous and delicious. The welcome and service were impeccable. We will definitely be back.

01/01/2026: Lopez!!! The best ice cream parlor in ALL of Royan!! We already knew that!!! And their ice cream logs are to die for!! That was a real discovery. We devoured the Sicilian log!
30/12/2025: We ordered two Yule logs for four people for Christmas, and what a surprise when we took one of them out of its packaging—it was broken! I checked to make sure I hadn't broken it during transport, but no, the broken piece wasn't even in the box. When we politely pointed it out to the saleswoman today, she didn't believe us until she saw the photo, and the only thing she could say was, "But we check them..." Apparently not that often. I'm not saying mistakes can happen, especially during the Christmas season when there are a lot of orders, but the broken piece not being in the box means it was broken as soon as it was packaged in the kitchen... And to top it all off, in addition to being condescending, the saleswoman didn't even apologize, which, given the price of the log (€21.90 for the four-person version, remember), would be the bare minimum... Lopez is a Royan institution, but it's a shame that some employees don't live up to the brand's standards. the company and this damages its image.
