20/03/2026: A first visit, but what a waste of time before coming for the first time, and a quick one at that because we had an appointment, but despite a quick visit, and the bad weather, we appreciated what we were served with great care during the welcome and service, in an "intimate" but well-designed place (all these points or almost all were mentioned to the young woman when paying).
10/03/2026: Nice spot for a quick lunch on the sunny terrace between appointments. The vegetarian buckwheat crepes are excellent and very reasonably priced. Relaxed and efficient service.

I visited Royan a few months ago to see my husband's family. We had a wonderful meal at L'Atelier.
Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked. Special mention for the homemade desserts—absolutely divine! The staff is welcoming and friendly. They also have a great sense of humor. A sure bet in Royan, far from the tourist traps.

Even though I didn’t try any wine, I discovered a very interesting gin here.
The owner is relaxed and friendly, and the crowd is just as pleasant and engaging.
The location of the shop is excellent.
I sampled a delicious gin and bought it right away – absolutely recommendable.
A new day, a new chance – and also a new gin. Simply delicious!

02/04/2026: Reservation for 12:45 PM, order taken 20 minutes later. The table on the right was cleared to make room for a couple with a teenager, two people were seated on the left, and the couple on the right were also served. Our dishes arrived last. The service was deplorable; the wait was far too long, so we didn't get dessert. Avoid this place for the first time.
30/03/2026: An excellent place, lovely buffet, and high-quality food. We had the rare ribeye steak, excellent meat cooked to perfection. For dessert, the mille-feuille was very good, crispy, and well-balanced. We learned they have a pastry chef, and it shows. To top it all off, the staff are fantastic and incredibly friendly. Well done to everyone! Don't hesitate to go!

24/02/2026: Original pizzas, but definitely not to our taste.
The prices seemed high considering the size and texture: we left frustrated and hungry.
The service was also average. We were surprised to see a pizza being changed from one customer to another even though it seemed to be already being cut, which didn't exactly inspire confidence... A shame, because the concept is interesting.
P.S.: I'm giving it 3 stars to avoid lowering the rating because tastes vary...
15/11/2025: Frozen pizza is very disappointing, I don't recommend it. Plus, the pizzas are very small for takeout. 13 euros for a pizza of that size, I call that a rip-off.
