Lovely sea view. Three different main course choices. No set menu, so the dishes are expensive. I know we're by the sea in Royan, but it's not Deauville. But I still recommend this place.

A very good restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea and the fishing huts. The casino is lit up in the evening with colored lights, which is very pretty against the waves. The service is impeccable and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed a leisurely aperitif of excellent fried smelt and appreciated the waiter asking us when he could send the rest of our meal. The portions are generous and very tasty. I recommend this restaurant in Royan, right next to the casino.

♥️A perfect place to relax and enjoy delicious food ♥️ I am absolutely delighted with my visit to this restaurant. The view of the beach is magnificent, and lunch on the sunny terrace is simply perfect 🤩 The veal chop was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the morel sauce was simply divine 🤩 The chocolate fondant was very generous and particularly flavorful 😍 The dishes are generously portioned, and the presentation is just perfect 👍 The cuisine is refined, very well seasoned, and the fresh ingredients are expertly prepared. Thank you for this wonderful experience 🙏 I highly recommend it.

We stopped by on December 26th and had lunch. The welcome was very pleasant. The meat dish was excellent. There was a small problem with my Martini, which was quickly resolved. We returned for lunch in September 2026. The welcome was just as pleasant. The meat was succulent and tender, and for once, the chef respected my request for it rare. A superb lunch overlooking the ocean. And finally, thank you to Florian for his kindness and professionalism in the service.

19/09/2026: L’Avocette — Royan Located at 100 Boulevard de Lattre de Tassigny in Royan, L’Avocette offers refined cuisine in a contemporary setting. The non-alcoholic "Pomme d’Api" cocktail is subtle yet pleasant. The confit chicken gizzard fritters were excellent, and the duck leg was tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and served with a flavorful sauce. For dessert, the "light chocolate, raspberry, and almond crunch" beautifully showcases its two main flavors. The dishes are presented with particular care. The Escapade menu offers good value for money. The staff is polite, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant also boasts a large terrace, despite its location at a busy intersection.
