La Joie De Vivre sur Roquebrune-Sur-Argens

Starter - Croquette d’agneau, the combination with mango sauce, it was 6/10. Main - bœuf kottu, very salty, beef was too salty but I cannot taste the beef. Kottu was too much veg, noooo Staff - soso.

Super yummy, great ambiance, and good nat wine selections! The roti is super delicious, fresh, very garlicky perfect. Really enjoyed the lamp croquettes and the crudo! The lentil curry was a bit toooo salty though and for the pastèque, cucumber salad, wish it was colder. Overall delicious! Oh yes! And the pandan sorbet! Pandan anything is fantastic this one was light not too sweet perfect! Can’t wait to come back and have more!

Excellent Sri Lankan cuisine, certainly adapted to French tastes. Everything is fresh and flavorful, perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared. Prices remain reasonable. Also worth noting is a fine selection of natural wines.

Delicious little dishes that I discovered with great pleasure. The orange wine was a delightful surprise. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry, I have a lot of experience in the restaurant business, this is not a Sri Lankan restaurant, the furniture is really uncomfortable, there's nothing Sri Lankan about it. I'm being nice, I don't want to disappoint the owner, that's why I'm giving it four stars.

Every time I visit La Joie, I have a wonderful time. The lunch menu is interesting and changes regularly, always very original and delicious. The service is also very pleasant.
