Pierrade le premier soir, raclette le second et nous devons revenir pour la fondue, tout est dit ! Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et professionnel. Déco cosy.

Family of 5 arriving from Paris late in the evening at 10 p.m. we were not able to be welcomed given the time, but the sympathy, smile and welcome of the owner made us say that we had to come back the next day. ... It was done and we were received admirably, fast but not sloppy service, always a kind word or attention (our son is 3 years old). Traditional dishes of quality fondue raclette and garnished as desired. The menu offers salad and dessert (all excellent) which transported us even further to Savoie. Special mention also to the Waitress (I didn't have her first name...) who was terribly efficient and smiling, in short, a very good time shared in this restaurant. I recommend with my eyes closed 👍👍

Authentic French cuisine. Enjoyed the salmon gravalax, raclette and steak. Service was friendly.

Had a great fondue dinner with charcuterie on the side. Busy place but we were able to get in without a reservation by going early. Definitely a great place for dinner after a full day of skiing. Attentive service. Had a good bottle of local wine.

Le Chamois d'or

09/08/2024: We have been coming to Chamois d’Or for several years. the location is perfect, the reception is very efficient and always accommodating even during the rush of departures or arrivals. We can only recommend! The best value for money in Val Tho in my opinion

Chalet de la Marine

16/05/2024: We would have skiied right by if not for a recommendation from a local to visit. The food was stellar and the wine list extensive and impressive. It's not cheap but I felt the value was reasonable to the quality and location.
28/04/2024: You can eat in the restaurant (good but pricey, with excellent deserts) or the cafe. We eat at the cafe and sat on the terrace. The food was good, prices average for Val Thorens & the view excellent. Both the cafe & restaurant are worth visiting but offer different experiences at different prices.
