La kant'ine sur Saint-Chamond

Le service est sympathique et efficace mais le plat du jour n’est pas à la hauteur d’une cuisine maison. Tranche de Cheddar sous vide Pain du burger desséché( probablement décongelé) Steak haché sans goût. Frites correctes. Les desserts semblaient bons mais nous n’avons pas osé tenter de peur d’être déçus… Et puis le croque monsieur annoncé à la carte avec du blanc de dinde est juste incompréhensif…pardon mais ce n’est plus un croque Monsieur…

Nice restaurant with a large enough terrace to eat outside, the service was quick and we enjoyed the cuisine, salad, grated meats and charcuterie a seasonal meal, the grated meats were excellent.

Pleasant welcome. Fresh and homemade dishes. Simple, family cuisine, “like at home” and rather well prepared. Classic portions. Daily menu at 20€. Pleasant terrace. Correct quality/price ratio. Two points to improve: the overcooked fish and the bread, cut in advance, which was therefore a little dry.

On Place Saint-Pierre in Saint-Chamond. Discovery on a Saturday noon...no actually it was 1 p.m. The cuisine is family style, good portions, and a friendly welcome. Good value for money.
