La Lampa sur Toulon

The very warm and smiling welcome, I highly recommend this restaurant, the meals are very good, nothing to complain about.

Having eaten there last night, very good aioli and well served. Friendly staff. Just one thing that bothers me a little, it's a glass of white wine served in a very basic glass and paid 8euro50. At least put a nice glass...for the price!

I liked that I could actually get a meal at 3:00 p.m. I've been to a lot of restaurants, but because I'm diabetic I find it hard to find a place to eat that is worth the price. This place was great. I went down the entire quayside looking at the menus of all the restaurants. This was the last one, and thankfully it had the best menu. It's hard to dislike the atmosphere at the quai. And the people were kind and there was actually a server who spoke English perfectly. I can speak enough French to survive, but if you're going to speak English I am very much going to advantage of it. I ordered the big salad with the tuna, thinking that it would just be canned tuna mixed in with some salad fixings. You should have seen the look on my face when the perfectly cooked tuna steak arrived on top of a bed of fabulously fresh vegetables, and some other little fish. I was only able to eat half of it and I took the other half home. For 25 Euros I got that and a latte. I'll be back.

This restaurant is located opposite the port. It has a large terrace as well as a large interior space. The map is diverse: Cocktail aperitif with or without alcohol, Wine, Beer, Fish such as salmon, sardines, etc. Pasta, Butcher's parts, Pizza, Children's menu, As for desserts, it is mainly composed of ice cream, normal we are in the South but I come from Aisne and I was able to taste the revisited lemon meringue tart and I must admit that I have never eaten a better one . The staff is very competent, friendly, smiling and attentive to the customer. By the way, a little advice for parking, enter the car park which tells you that it is full, because, one, it is not and two, you benefit from 30 minutes free before leaving the car park. We usually eat an aioli before attending the match at Mayol because it is very good. The royal is always excellent but we had to wait more than 1 hour before being served!!!! It must be said that we were placed behind the palm tree. On the other hand, the disabled toilet has been removed… hence the wait ++++ for the only accessible We had to ask for coffee served by the only smiling and efficient waitress who served us in addition to her room service. If things don't improve it will be the last...

On ne compte plus les années où nous venons manger à la Lampa. Toujours aussi bon et copieux avec des prix corrects compte tenu de l'emplacement. Les serveurs sont sympas, quoiqu'en disent certains, et avons passé une agréable soirée. A la prochaine fois...

Resto sur le port dans un cadre assez sympa, mais très bruyant, aïoli royal un peu faible en produits de la mer, mais 1 tonne d haricots congelés. Salade de poulpe correct mais pas de quoi sauter au plafond. Prix très correct et personnel sympa
