Having lived in Falaise for 15 years, this was our first time at this brasserie. The welcome was friendly, and I love the 70s decor. The sirloin steak was excellent and of good quality. I recommend it; we'll definitely be back, and it's open in the evenings too.

Found ourselves in Falaise on a Tuesday night when many restaurants were shut but how lucky it was that this lovely bistro was open! Great food, friendly service, great value for money....oh, and one of the best Tarte Tatins i have ever had!

We arrived at 7 am. We were greeted promptly. For the meal, it's hard to find better value for money... not even fast food prices, but with added quality. Thank you :)

The reviews on here are a bit mixed, but the patron Michel coped admirably on his own with nine noisy English men (actually, two were Welsh!). The food was tasty traditional French from a small menu, but the service was both fun and attentive ( except when Michel was inevitably in the kitchen).

15/05/2026: An unforgettable encounter with Fanny, a true phenomenon! As she so aptly puts it, her establishment is "forbidden to idiots." Come with an open mind, a desire to discover her whole personality, and you'll have a wonderful time. A word of advice: if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you! Here, doing things well takes time, and she won't hesitate to remind you of that. The wait is more than worth it: the crêpes are absolutely delicious, served by a restaurateur who is as unique as she is friendly. The cherry on top (or rather, the cherry on the crêpe): we left giving her a kiss on the cheek! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Falaise. A huge thank you to you, Fanny, for so much passion.
