La locanda sur Nice

A verdant setting for exquisite flavors. As customers for many years, we have always appreciated the restaurant thanks to its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, and of course, the delicious and generous portions of fresh Italian cuisine. Building on this experience, we chose La Locanda to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on July 12th with family and friends. It was extraordinary and unforgettable. Audrey, the owner, prepared a buffet for us in a private section of the garden. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The buffet was beautifully presented, very generous, and offered something for everyone: super crispy focaccia, refined Italian charcuterie, Vitello Tonnato (a delight!), delicious tuna and marlin, melon and ham, grilled vegetables, cheese... I'm sure I'm forgetting some! And to finish, a delicious fruit-based cake. Moreover, the value for money is unbeatable. This wonderful day delighted our guests and inspired others to do the same. Thank you again to Audrey and Paolo for their warm welcome, their organization, their professionalism, and also for their kindness and expertise. See you very soon.

A wonderful discovery! I came with friends on Sunday, octopus day 🐙 We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The restaurant is almost hidden away, very quiet, you can hear the cicadas 😌 The set menu is €49 and includes antipasti, spit-roasted octopus served with ratatouille and potatoes, and dessert. Everything is delicious and generous.

A hidden gem of a restaurant that's well worth the detour. A garden where you can take your time and savor your meal. Truly excellent.

What a wonderful discovery in Nice! We had an absolutely delightful time at this restaurant. Everything was perfectly executed, from the elegant presentation of the dishes to the original choice of serving the roast meat in a large cork bowl. The flavors were exceptional. Special mention goes to the gratinated scallops, served directly in their shells, which were a true delight. We finished the meal with a very indulgent tiramisu, served in small terracotta bowls. We will definitely be back.

We went to eat at La Locanda this evening. The food was excellent, no complaints! Even if the portions were smaller. The service could be better; the waitresses were less friendly. Double-check your bill, which I didn't do at the time, resulting in a cocktail (12€) being charged twice...

A superb discovery, delicious food, and attentive staff! A place to remember.

From the appetizer to the dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The setting is lovely and the staff is incredibly attentive. We will gladly return!
