There may be Loire wine shops as good, but there are certainly none better than La Loire en Tonneaux in Loches. Over the years every bottle they have recommended has been not just good, but really, really good! They offer only Loire wines, carefully selected. We have sampled Loire wine while in France many times and also at home in the US. We always look for wines we have learned about from this shop. They also are so helpful to match wine for us with the food we are preparing. This wine shop alone is worth a stop in Loches!

Quality welcome from the couple. Listening and advice on regional wines. Nice aperitif. And along the way some visiting advice.

Thank you for these magical moments!! We came this summer Marielle and I initially to eat there, but faced with such a welcome, such kindness, such taste and passion... in short we loved the host of this place!!! His wines, his way of telling us about them… we ended up snacking while drinking wine…. We would have liked to stay the day, what am I saying? the week!… thank you again for these great moments!!!! We will come back for sure!!!

Un endroit a ne pas manquer quand on visite Loches. Un couple plus qu’accueillant avec une grand connaissance de son métier. Nous sommes revenus les voir à notre deuxième visite en moto car on se souvenait de leur amical et hyper sympa sauvetage qu’ils ont fait la dernière fois il y a 4 ans quand ils nous ont dépanné le dîner même s’ils étaient en train de fermer. Que du bonheur de retrouver des gens si aimables et professionnels. On vous attends à Blois ;)

Commerçante très chaleureuse,de très bons conseils,de très bonnes dégustations ,qui en plus est originaire de la même région que nous 😉 au cœur d'un magnifique centre ville,je recommande fortement.
