La Loy sur Saint-Martin-De-Belleville

Long Wait despite reserving in advance. We booked in advance, but when we arrived, we were made to wait in a queue of people outside the restaurant for about 15 minutes. I don’t understand this as there were empty tables including the one we were eventually given. It felt very unwelcoming. Once we were actually allowed in it was OK. Food was reasonable, service slow (clearly staffing issues) & pricing was good. It’s off the piste, so you need to look for it & the ski back out is a narrow run with not much snow. Unlikely to return due to the initial unnecessary wait.

We had a wonderful time 😁 The service was professional, friendly, and pleasant. The cuisine was sophisticated, made with passion, and truly exceptional. The prices are reasonable compared to many restaurants in the Three Valleys. The view from the terrace, nestled in the mountains, is superb and peaceful. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back! 👍
