Good food, good atmosphere, good service with some great discoveries, right by the water

While passing through Courseulles-sur-Mer, we had the pleasure of discovering this wonderful place by chance. The service was exceptionally friendly and excellent, the dishes delicious and appetizing, all served in an idyllic setting. And above all, a huge thank you to the entire team, especially Manon and Hugues, for the thoughtful return of my cap, which I had left behind. Raphaël

Excellent welcome. Top-notch seafood (a little tip: cook the whelks with at least a bouquet garni of thyme and bay leaf). Beautiful view of the oyster beds. Warm atmosphere.

Hello, we came to eat with our children, ages 5 and 7. The location is very pleasant, right by the water. The view and the setting are truly beautiful. My children had fish and chips and mussels, which they thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had the tuna tartare, which was excellent, while I had mussels in cream sauce. I enjoyed it at first, but very quickly I bit into an extremely hot chili pepper. For 30 minutes my mouth was on fire and I felt very unwell. I asked the waiter if it was normal to have a chili pepper in my mussels in cream sauce. He said yes, they put it in to spice up the sauce. I pointed out that it wasn't listed on the menu. I couldn't finish my meal; I only ate half my mussels and couldn't finish my dish. My eyes were watering uncontrollably, and my face was bright red, no exaggeration. The waiter even saw me go to the restroom to freshen up because I was so unwell! He told me he went to the kitchen to talk to his team because it wasn't "nice." As a result, that chili pepper ruined my meal and my time with my family... I'm not even sure it was supposed to be in the dish! The waiter asked if I wanted to change my order, but I was completely unable to eat after that! When it came time to pay, no discount or compensation was offered! It's a real shame!

A restaurant with no real charm, very touristy, with subpar service... No smiles, very mechanical, wrong dishes ordered, no apologies, no attempt to send the order back to the kitchen. Keep walking; there are plenty of other options nearby with better atmosphere and service.

Great place by the sea and very good tradional french seaside cuisine. There are some nice brinish ponds here with various water fowl and outdoor seating for the restaurant.

Very pleasant restaurant, very helpful and attentive staff. Good value for money. We recommend it.
