01/05/2026: May 2026 On the May Day weekend, we went to the Côté Plage restaurant in Courseulles-sur-Mer. Always a pleasure to come. The owners are friendly and smiling, as usual. Review May 9, 2024 We were in Villers-sur-Mer for the weekend. We went to the Côté Plage restaurant in Courseulles-sur-Mer. We really like this restaurant; we are always warmly welcomed. The owners and servers are very friendly. We will be back in August 2024. Best of luck and thank you. When we go to Courseilles-sur-Mer, we always go to this restaurant. It's very good, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We ate there twice, on July 9th and 10th, and we always got the table we requested, number 15, without any problem. Great! 19/04/2026: Warm welcome. Delicious mussels and fries. They don't lie here; they tell you right away that the mussels come from Denmark. Trust rating 👍 Not a long wait. We ate inside because the lovely outdoor terrace was still too chilly. We'll be back.

03/04/2026: We walk in and there's already a table with cutlery ready to serve, practically in the sliding door of the restaurant's entrance. It's clear from the moment you step inside that every square inch is being used to make money, regardless of customer comfort. It's 5 degrees Celsius and raining outside, so it doesn't matter if you leave this restaurant with a cold, it'll be a souvenir... Our doubts about this establishment's practices are confirmed as soon as we order the aperitifs, the beers are more expensive than at the Deauville Casino, and the wines... I won't mention the purchase prices for buying and selling them, but reselling a bottle of Pouilly-Fumé for 64 euros is still outrageous. ...The real gem: a 0.5cl Leffe for 15.90 euros... I'm speechless. Anyway, we eat our meal, nothing more. I ordered a banana split for dessert... I like my bananas slightly underripe, but this one was so small I couldn't even cut it open to eat it. So I left it, told the waitress when I went to pay, but she didn't react... In short, I won't be going back, it's a tourist trap.

19/02/2026: Lots of activities. The children had a blast with the water games. The beach, the sea, the sand, the horses, the sailboats, the sandcastles... In addition to the historical sites about World War II, tanks, cannons, bunkers, and museums... So much to do.

29/01/2026: Relatively disappointed with this Capfun campsite for my week's holiday. Positive points: Close to the beach, the pool is pretty good, and the mobile homes are in good condition, but that's about it. Negative points: - The mobile homes are crammed together. You sneeze, and 15 other mobile homes practically say "bless you." Absolutely no privacy. Our living room overlooked the toilet in the next mobile home; its toilet window was a meter away from our kitchen. - The pool is okay, but the wooden castle with the slides stinks terribly. The wooden slats are cracked, and mushrooms several centimeters high are visible everywhere inside. - The campsite's safety is questionable. A child got their leg stuck in a play structure 3 meters off the ground. After waiting 15 minutes for someone from the campsite to finally come (in vain), some parents had to climb onto the structure to help the child... - A Club Med staff member contacted my 13-year-old daughter to explain that they were going to organize a pool party exclusively for girls. My daughter wanted to go with a friend, but my wife was refused because it was reserved for minors only and parents weren't allowed. So, Club Med staff (and only men) are organizing pool parties with ONLY minors and "hidden" from view; it's a pretty questionable concept... - The snack bar is a complete joke... the prices displayed aren't always the ones charged. During a "themed" evening on August 15th, we had reserved meals for the family. Once we arrived, the meals had been given to the "regulars at the campsite." I wanted to get something else, but apparently at 7 p.m., the snack bar was out of stock... - On the day of departure, a maintenance worker thought it would be a good idea to run a string trimmer around the pool area near the children, scattering dozens of pebbles everywhere. My 6-year-old son got hit in the face with one while he was in the pool...

15/04/2026: A pleasant place to have a drink by the sea, note that service is at the bar but this is clearly indicated, the prices are reasonable considering the location.

21/04/2026: Sorry, but the meal was terrible, we were disappointed we stopped at this place. The fish and chips were too greasy, the fries too, and the fish wasn't cooked enough. My daughter had a plate of shrimp that looked like it came from Aldi ☹️ So we didn't order dessert because we were too disappointed.

15/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and the food was of good quality. The prices are very reasonable; I highly recommend this establishment.
