La Maison Bleue sur Honfleur

No meal eaten there, just a drink... The waiter was very friendly; we had a minor mishap with the wind, our drink tipped over, and he kindly refilled it for us... thank you for the gesture.

We received a warm welcome at Restaurant Maison Bleu, and the staff were pleasant. However, we were disappointed by the food. I ordered fish and chips, but the fries seemed frozen, which was a shame. My friend had a mushroom omelet and felt unwell afterward, which spoiled the evening. Furthermore, the prices are quite high for the quality offered. The crepe was overcooked and far too sweet. So, a mixed experience overall, with a friendly welcome but food that didn't quite live up to our expectations.

Slow service, the fries were lukewarm but affordable prices for Honfleur, on the edge of the harbor.

Went here with my baby boy and ordered the crepes one with strawberry jam and one with Nutella. Long story short - IT WAS AMAZE BALLS 🤯🤯🤯 and such amazing service like wow the people were so kind

Ideally located, we wanted to eat (fries, a charcuterie platter, or a croque monsieur with a drink), but the waiter told us they didn't serve meals or even snacks on the outdoor terrace... that we absolutely had to go inside the restaurant. So we only ordered drinks, contrary to what we had planned. Ten minutes later, he served crepes to one table and fries to another. We ended up eating at the bakery next door. Otherwise, the place is really nice.

€99 for two. We found the price a bit high considering we ordered: A bottle of port and a Normandy-themed snack kit (No ice, nothing to nibble on, not even a few peanuts). Main courses: 2 x scallops with tagliatelle (one of the daily specials offered at €22.50) (The scallops were cooked raw inside; a few more minutes in the pan would have been appreciated. The tagliatelle was a bit too firm; cooking it longer would have been better.) Desserts: 2 banana splits (very basic presentation) And two coffees with just sugar, nothing else. Drinks: A pitcher of cider that could have been brought a little earlier as we had practically finished our meal (not even a carafe of water available). In short, a high price compared to other places. The only plus is the covered terrace with a view of the port, but that hardly justifies such a high price... There are surely better options for less money.

Stopped for food on a sunny but windy late afternoon, I had mussels and fries, and they were very good, my wife had the burger fries and she said it was the best burger she has ever had, good value for money and washed down by a couple of beers perfect.
