La Maison de Jules sur Varengeville-Sur-Mer

A lovely spot, a cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant with an exhibition of paintings by a local artist from Dieppe. High-quality, well-presented cuisine (the andouille sausage deserves a medal!) and truly homemade desserts 🧡. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

I can completely understand the negative reviews about the service. The service was very distant, bordering on unfriendly. We also ordered the quiche as a set menu. However, neither the wine nor the espresso was served. When we asked about the wine during the meal, we were told that the apple spritzer would compensate for it, as would the espresso, which would be included with the cappuccino we ordered with dessert. However, the bill included both apple spritzers and both cappuccinos, but the glass of wine and the espresso were neither delivered nor deducted. It's a real shame, because the restaurant itself is cozy and has a lot of potential. We really liked the charm and atmosphere of the rooms. But we won't be going back under the current management.
