A very nice surprise. We particularly appreciated the kindness of Hélène, Alex and their small team and even extended our stay thanks to Hélène. The family character of the Maison de la Monne will seduce you. The meals served and enhanced by the Good humor from the Hosts will immerse you in the hospitality of the Auvergnats. For nature lovers The cottage is ideally located between Puy de Dôme and Puy de Sancy or Saint-Nectaire. Hélène will also be able to advise you and direct you towards visiting the beautiful picturesque villages of the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park. In conclusion: We will come back. In the meantime as they say in our Béarn: Adishatz e dinc'a beth leu (Goodbye and see you soon)

Très belle expérience en famille dans ce restaurant avec nos 3 enfants : tout était délicieux de l’entrée au dessert, du fait maison dans un cadre très agréable je recommande .

The cottage is surrounded by nature which gives it its charm. Now the room and service are really basic. It's okay for a one-night stopover but no more. Breakfast €8.50 for the bare minimum hot drink, a glass of industrial juice, a pastries and bread. No fruit or homemade eggs too bad! The room without towels or even shower mats. For 111€ per night. As for reception, it is automatic, without heat...

Pleasant and comfortable establishment. Simple but comfortable and well equipped room. Neat cuisine. A spirit which is closer to a hotel - restaurant than to a stopover gite (meals taken alone at one's table). A dryer or line for hikers' laundry is missing.

A welcome like we have rarely seen! This night allowed us to rest during our roaming trek and to treat the sore feet following the hike. The hosts welcomed us in the best way, at the last minute and we are very grateful to you. The evening meal was excellent! Everything was perfect. Thank you so much !!

Nous avons été accueilli comme on aimerait l’être Je dirais même au-delà de nos espérances Certes nous étions seules. En tout cas ce fut une très belle expérience et les portions sont très généreuses, même mon Monaco et nous avons eux des conseils pour la rando . Nous étions avec notre chien ravi Bonne continuation à vous 2 (+ la chienne)
