La Maison du Fleuve sur Camblanes-Et-Meynac

We were disappointed by the Valentine's Day menu starter. The scallop was rather lonely in the presentation of the shell. One or two more scallops would have been better, but above all, the menu advertised scallops and truffles... We searched in vain for anything in the presentation that resembled truffles... And even the taste wasn't there; I pointed this out to the server. The rest of the menu was good. We ordered a bottle of Deutz champagne (Blanc de Blancs) for €115. I find it very expensive, even though it is indeed a very good champagne and we chose it knowingly. It's a shame that your establishment doesn't offer other Blanc de Blancs that are readily available (there are many) and equally excellent, but significantly less expensive... I understand that you need to make a profit, but this is really a shame...

The service was far too slow. Almost 30 minutes between each course. People who arrived much later were served before us. The main courses were perfect, except for the dessert: the macaron was too dry and hard.

Always satisfied with the food and the atmosphere. Thank you, don't change a thing.

A creative bistronomic cuisine in a cosy atmosphere served by a nice staff for an affordable price. Just 2 improvements for consideration: 1)the main course was served a bite cold, 2)tables for two are all in a centre of the room, not leaving room for some privacy.

We return to this restaurant year after year, whether for a special occasion or just a weekend evening. The food is always delicious, and the staff is very attentive to our requests (food intolerances, etc.). The view of the Garonne is beautiful, but when the weather isn't cooperating, we sit inside, which is pleasant, refined, and welcoming, with a large wood-burning stove in the center of the room.

The set menu was absolutely excellent from start to finish, wow! And the service was very pleasant; this restaurant is a gem.

Excellent meal, idyllic setting, and a waitress named Bérangère who served us with spontaneity, friendliness, and warmth.

Very good, excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect, the atmosphere was very pleasant, I recommend it 100%.
