Special food, with lots of seaweed sauce. The foie gras and fish combination was quite unusual. The scallops with seaweed sauce were very distinctive. Cuisine for those who enjoy surf and turf combinations. The staff and setting were very pleasant and friendly.

This was one of our favorite restaurants in the Bordeaux region. Beautiful location and proper, tasty cuisine. However, the menu has been completely changed (new chef?); the result is disappointing: the combinations attempted are far too contrived. There is also too little attention paid to quality: the foie gras is of inferior quality. The steak was also far from tender... The staff does their best, but due to the tight staffing, they struggle to get everything done. And as a customer, you can feel that stress. It is a shame, because this location on the Garonne is top-notch.

As its name suggests, La Maison du Fleuve is located on the banks of the Garonne River, offering a distant view of Bordeaux. It's a peaceful spot with a terrace that's a real bonus in the summer. The service is impeccable, with smiling and attentive staff. The set menu is €25, and the river menu is €48. Excellent service and refined cuisine. Pure bliss. The statue that greets you is a bit surprising, and you have to look carefully to find the signs.
