Best (and huge) pain au raisin ever. Good raspberry tart. Apple fondant a little heavy. Tables outside. Coffee available. Helpful young lady server.

Among the three bakeries we tried in Saint-Malo Intra-Muros, this one is by far the best. We tried their croissants, pains aux raisins, brioches, fars bretons, and fondants aux pommes. Their croissants are especially good when you get them early, while they are still warm from the oven, around 8 a.m.

16/06/2026: We received a warm welcome at this hotel. The location is a real plus, as you can reach the city walls in 15 minutes. Breakfast offers a good selection, even at 9:50 am. Parking is available for an extra charge. The rooms are very spacious, and there are several family rooms available.

The problem is the location; it's very far from the historic center and in a rather unattractive neighborhood. It's not dangerous, but it certainly lacks charm. For Saint-Malo, it's a poor location. The staff is extremely friendly, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is clean, large, and comfortable, with a good shower.
