La Maison du Pecheur sur Bretignolles-Sur-Mer

A simple but very efficient restaurant. The veggie burger was very popular, and the fish tartare was exquisite. Reasonable prices and quality service.

This is a place I knew from my childhood, when I spent my holidays there 35 years ago with my grandparents in Brem. My grandfather would come every morning to drink a glass of rosé and place his bets. I rediscovered the place with my family, and I'm happy to share my memories with them. We particularly appreciate the food. The mussels are a real treat. The ice cream sundaes are too. And the prices are competitive. Enough for a complete meal at a reasonable price. Thanks, Grandpa, for introducing me to this place ;)

We were looking for a restaurant around 9 pm on Friday, June 26th. Along the beach, no one was serving anymore… Then we arrived at La Maison du Pêcheur, and honestly, what a pleasant surprise! We were greeted and served by Mathis, a lovely young man, always smiling, helpful, and very hardworking. His professionalism and good humor truly contributed to making our experience excellent. As for the food, the fish and chips were absolutely delicious, and the mussels and fries were just as excellent. It just goes to show that simplicity, well-prepared ingredients, and a warm welcome often make for the best meals. We recommend this establishment 100% and we will definitely be back!
