La Maison Tourangelle sur Savonnieres

We went on the Friday after New Year and I was a little worried it would be quiet but that was unfounded as it was almost full. I chose the menu Saison and had a poached egg with comte sauce and truffle served with a delightful mini Croque Monsieur laced with truffle. Perfectly done and superb taste. I followed this with Saint Jacques in a chorizo emulsion -absolutley delicious . For dessert a vanilla mouse with chocolate seated a fine biscuit. We had a bottle of Pouilly-Fumé and no coffee. Before and after the meal there were delicate amuse-bouche. We all felt that whilst the dishes were excellent they were a little small - the risotto with my Saint Jacques could have been a little more generous. That said we had an excellent meal , with friendly service in comfortable surroundings. 223€ for 3 was reasonable. I would eat here again.

An incredible experience, worthy of a Michelin star. The welcome was superb, warm yet still upscale. The food was amazing, absolutely nothing to criticize. Perfect cooking and seasoning. Amuse-bouches and petit fours were offered in addition to the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, I highly recommend it!

Excellent gourmet restaurant, warm welcome, delicious and refined dishes served in front of a fireplace by smiling and friendly waitresses, and the desserts are divine. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Impeccable welcome and service. We ordered a €59 set menu (starter, main course, dessert) and a €74 set menu (starter, fish, meat, dessert) + a €7 cheese supplement. Starter: Very good raw salmon. Foie gras ravioli, not very flavorful. Fish: Excellent monkfish with a rather unoriginal side dish (chorizo ​​pasta). Meat: Wonderfully tender veal, but the side dish was rather unrefined (carrots, mushrooms). Cheese: Goat cheese, 2 Tomes, a Camembert, fruit jellies cut into 4 very thin pieces ☹️. Dessert: Chocolate cake. Only one choice of wine, whether white or red, when ordered by the glass ☹️, a shame! In the end, we were a little disappointed. For a gourmet restaurant, we found it lacking a bit of originality, innovation, and flavor. Maybe it was an off day!!!
