A fantastic experience at La Mama! The food was truly excellent, everything was delicious, and the dishes arrived piping hot and quickly. The eggplant mille-feuille and the carbonara were absolutely incredible! The servers are lovely, very kind and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is superb; the restaurant was quite full, but despite the crowd, the noise level remained perfectly reasonable, allowing you to fully enjoy your meal. This was my second time at La Mama, and I'm still not disappointed—quite the opposite! I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and for the warm welcome and atmosphere. I will definitely be back! ❤️

The pizza dough is truly excellent! I highly recommend this place. My only slight complaint is about the desserts… while not bad, they're not nearly as good as the pizzas…

Whenever I go to Bordeaux, I always stop there; the food is very good, especially the pasta fruit du mare.

An excellent place! The pastry is thin, crispy, and perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality; you can taste the true Italian expertise. The service is warm and quick, and the atmosphere is friendly. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it.

We were a group of eight for dinner and were served immediately. An authentic pizzeria in the heart of Bordeaux. High-quality product at a very good price. Excellent service. We'll definitely be back.

A deplorable service, very slow, with a closed-faced, unfriendly waiter who doesn't make you want to come back!

Pizza Enzo

21/09/2026: I’m not sure how many of the positive reviews here are actually about the pizza, because the pizza itself was mediocre at best. Some very basic pizza fundamentals seem to have been forgotten. The base was oddly sweet and clearly under-fermented, with none of the flavour or texture you would expect from a properly made pizza. And putting whole pitted olives on a pizza is something I have honestly never come across in a decent Italian pizzeria. I can’t comment on the rest of the menu, but based on the pizza alone, there was very little that felt genuinely Italian about this place.
08/09/2026: Very good, everything was very clean and good.

La Mona

03/09/2026: I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars in my memory, but it's not nice to have closed permanently without warning anyone, without a notice on the door or on social media. It's rather disrespectful to the customers who came regularly. La Bastide is in mourning.
24/07/2026: Excellent pizzeria, homemade without a doubt. Go without hesitation, and the staff are lovely!
