I went to recharge my batteries in this idyllic, exceptionally clean place; the tranquility is magnificent. I highly recommend it because the food is excellent, everything is homemade, which I truly appreciated. I will definitely return regularly.

We stayed for two nights as a group, having booked the entire gîte. Each unit has its own toilet and bathroom. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with plenty of dishes and utensils. There's a spacious common room and a large, enclosed garden. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends and family. Thank you to Nelly for her warm welcome.

We had a wonderful night at Gîte La Mandarine. A beautiful building with lots of charm, large rooms with character. Comfortable bedding – everything was perfect.

Thank you again to the manager who gave us such a warm welcome in the evening after our motorway breakdown. You took the time to greet us and even prepared breakfast for us the next morning. The room was perfect. We weren't able to stay longer and enjoy it fully, but from a quick glance, it's clear we'll be back for a stay someday because the place is magnificent. Thank you again for your hospitality and kindness.

We suffered a mechanical breakdown in the middle of the night on the motorway. The manager came to our aid and provided us with a room for the night. Without her, without her kindness, we would have spent the night in the cold. She took care of us, even helping us find the nearest garage. She was very welcoming and caring. I can't thank you enough. Thank you for everything.

07/02/2026: Excellent bakery and pastry shop that we enjoy stopping at every time we pass through Piolenc. The pastries and viennoiseries, especially the sacristains, are something else! However, it's a shame that there are no longer any restrooms, as we usually grab a quick bite there. So we go to the café next door, which is very nice.
01/01/2026: My stop on my way home from work, since I work nights... Homemade pastries are rare these days, and they're excellent. The bread is very good, and as for the cakes, so far I've only bought some bûchettes (small logs). I found them a bit pricey, but again, nothing to complain about, very good. The staff is also very friendly.

18/02/2026: I simply loved it, both the exterior and interior decor promises a total escape with a very cozy and warm dining room, very pleasant staff and service, a beautiful Swiss chalet atmosphere, I felt like I was in a restaurant in Gruyères, a feast for the eyes in every way, and a delight for the taste buds too, generous, gourmet, promises kept! I will return with great pleasure.
15/02/2026: First experience for Valentine's Day. Very pretty. Decor in the chalet. The Savoyard fondue was very good. A minor drawback: I regret that the charcuterie wasn't top quality, as it was clearly from a plastic bag. And it wasn't sold by the slice (a shame). Some good country bread would have been a nice addition. And the 25-minute wait between the main course and dessert was a bit long. Otherwise, the price was reasonable overall. I'll definitely go back in the summer to sit on the terrace.
