We had a good time, but be aware the dining room is noisy.
The meal was good.
One small complaint about the dish we ordered (Welche au Saint-Nectaire): it was described as having an old-fashioned mustard sauce, which is true, but it was far too overpowering. It completely masked the flavor of the rest of the dish, and it was supposed to have a slice of artisanal country bread at the bottom, which it wasn't; it was a slice of white bread.
The desserts, chocolate fondant and French toast, were very good, and the appetizer, a small charcuterie board to share (which wasn't actually that small), was perfect.

The atmosphere is great, the service excellent, the food is plentiful and delicious – don't miss it! I love the restaurant's decor, especially in the beautiful city of Clermont-Ferrand and its surroundings. I'll be back.

We wanted to find a restaurant serving local cuisine... and this is exactly the place to choose.
The food is delicious, and above all, the price is very reasonable. The service is impeccable, and the location is perfect.
The little robot that brings the dishes directly to the servers... It's very convenient.

Excellent find! On our way to the Alps, my wife, our three children, and I stopped at La Mangoune, and we absolutely don't regret our choice.
The dishes were generous, flavorful, and perfectly showcased Auvergne cuisine. For us, from Bordeaux, it was a truly "truffade-esque" experience! The truffade was delicious, as was the rest of the meal.
The service was quick despite the crowds, and the entire team was smiling, welcoming, and very attentive. It's also excellent value for money, which is much appreciated when traveling with family.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover local specialties in a friendly atmosphere. We will gladly return on our next trip to the region!
