A pleasant surprise. We arrived at 1:30 pm on a Sunday without a reservation. While the lack of servers was noticeable (as is often the case in restaurants), we had a very good lunch in a pleasant and quiet setting with a view of the port (upstairs). The food was very good, and the advertised wait time was even "not unbearable." A meal to repeat without hesitation.

A chalkboard outside reads: "New arrival, 1/2 lobster at 28 euros per person." We rushed over, and then he told us, to our dismay, that we had to wait half an hour and be offered something else. So, was the advertisement misleading or not?

Excellent quality, refined cuisine, very good service—truly a discovery! The oysters were very fresh, plump, firm, and flavorful, followed by a divinely cooked sole meunière. This restaurant doesn't deserve its average rating of 3.5/5.
I'll be back.

Had lunch this afternoon and everything was perfect and excellent! Oysters, salmon dome, grilled sea bass excellent! Not forgetting the profiteroles!! I highly recommend this pleasant place! The wait time between courses is perfect and the service impeccable! Very well located with terrace on the port!

We are surprised by the reviews we have just read (and fortunately so because neither would have gone)! We found the service very pleasant, in fact the server who looked after us was very friendly and very professional. Regarding the food, we really enjoyed ourselves, everything was very good (special mention for the grilled sea bass and the salmon dome). For our part, we know where to go to eat without hesitation during our next stroll in Port-en-Bessin.

Water glasses left on the table unclean.
The owner or server were not very welcoming.
The mussels were good and the quantity was good for the price (in Belgium, they're at least €10 more expensive, but the fries are included in the price, and you can order more as many as you like).
What also bothered me was that you have to choose a dessert at the same time as your main course. Normally, you'd ask for the menu again afterward to choose a dessert or coffee break.
This would be due to the chef's organization. Not understood.

At your service. We had mussels and fries, excellent. The downside was the glass of rosé, €8, which was more interesting for the 0.50cl pitcher. Otherwise, it was perfect, with a view along the port.
