It had been a long time since we'd been to La Marmite, a renowned Dorache restaurant. We had a wonderful evening: a warm welcome, a lovely setting, and excellent cuisine from start to finish. The lamb pot-au-feu was particularly delicious, and other guests thoroughly enjoyed the hake fillet with risotto. Thank you for a lovely time.

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and attentive: Maëlys was smiling, available, and ready to advise us on the dishes and wines—efficient and discreet service, which was much appreciated. As for the food: what a delightful surprise! Each dish was beautifully presented, with fresh, flavorful ingredients and harmonious flavor combinations. Tasting it, you can clearly taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the preparation—worthy of a gourmet restaurant. The ambiance of the place completes the experience: tasteful decor, soft lighting, relaxed atmosphere—an ideal setting for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends, without unnecessary frills. If the candles are lit, it means the pot is open. Passing through Le Dorat, this restaurant fulfilled my lunchtime gastronomic expectations: a complete express menu for €18.50, including wine and coffee. Alternatively, for those with a bit more time, there are set menus between €20 and €30, always featuring quality ingredients. The quality of the dishes proves that the chef has attended culinary school and is dedicated to satisfying even the most discerning palates. It's a great place where you feel comfortable and want to return. A truly excellent find.
