La Marotte sur La Salle-Les-Alpes

This is an incredible find in such a fabulous ski town. The food is incredible, between our large group we tried almost every dish on the menu and not one will disappoint. The hospitality is out of this world and the owner made a point to make each table’s experience special and memorable. Above and beyond service and absolutely delicious food from a local family and fabulous, comfortable and homey setting. Not to be missed and we will be back again soon!

For an old tax center, it's very small but we had a blast! Family atmosphere, the flavors selected are rarely chosen but excellent! Congratulations to the whole team ! Note to improve further, put different plates, choices of colors, different granules to improve your work!

Our favorite restaurant in all of the Alps (and possibly all of France). La Marotte is incredible... It's beyond charming, cared-for and thoughtful. Jack, the chef and owner has kept the original go-to dishes and then added his own incredible flavor like beetroot hummus and tarragon chicken. Before my wedding last year we had a small dinner with friends and family and it was one of the most memorable parts of the whole weekend. From the hand-written menu to the warmth of the space and the perfectly cooked meals - there is love in every inch of this place. Thank you Jack for a dinner we will never forget. :)

As first time visitors to the area, we ate at many restaurants, and our evening at La Marotte was by far the best. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so cozy and charming, the cuisine authentic and delicious, and the staff beyond accommodating and kind. The food was unreal, and our group could not stop talking about our night. I will definitely be back. If you want an authentic, delicious, and special experience, visit La Marotte. 10/10!

This little spot was the most tasty and joyful meal we had on our entire trip around Europe. Jack is a hell of a one man show and the experience he’s built is not to be missed - arrive hungry!

Pour un ancien centre des impôts, c'est tout petit mais nous nous sommes régalés ! Ambiance familial, les saveurs sélectionnées sont rarement choisies mais excellentes ! Bravo à toute l'équipe ! Note pour améliorer encore, mettez des assiettes différentes, des choix de coloris, de granulotés différentes pour bonnifier votre travail !

Exquisite culinary experience for fair price in a homely entourage. Superb mellow beef cheek, well-seasoned salmon spread and light cloud-like chocolate mousse - all completed with fine wine. We made a reservation for 14 people and they sat us all at one table even though the restaurant is not very spacious. Card is not accepted!

Bardzo smaczne jedzenie i przyjemna obsługa - spędziliśmy idealny wieczór. Szczególnie polecam flaki - smak inny niż w Polsce - bardziej wyrazisty, prawdopodobnie w związku z dodaniem białego wina. DESERY TOP ! smakowo - chyba najlepsza część kolacji. Pierwszy raz w życiu próbowałem dżemu selerowego. Podsumowując - wieczór pełen wrażeń !
