Creative, imaginative, and delicious dishes in a charming, old-fashioned setting. The chicken liver terrine with its marvelous chutney, the zucchini and Parmesan terrine (absolutely delicious), the refined and fragrant vegetarian mafé (magnificent), the pork with caramel and ginger, the perfectly executed tarte Tatin, and the coconut-banana cake were all superb. We wish we had a restaurant like this back home. We'll definitely be back before we leave. And I almost forgot, the shop selling homemade products across the street is also worth a visit.

This place completely stole our hearts – we even managed to get a reservation for 17 people! It’s a small restaurant, with nontouristy food very homemade, authentic, and full of experience. The waiter handled our large group amazingly well. He had a great system: he went through each dish one by one and then asked us to raise our hands at the end to choose. He explained every dish, what it was made of, and what it tasted like -amazing! The food was served very quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. They use organic ingredients and even products from their own garden! The flavor combinations were fantastic. We were absolutely thrilled.

A charming little house on Rue de la Guisiane. The cuisine is delicious and original, everything is homemade, organic, and locally sourced whenever possible, offering excellent value for money. The service is attentive. We had been wanting to try La Marotte for a while, we were delighted with our dinner, and we will gladly return.

This is the place to go for a meal in the area. Just a perfect place to go with friends or couples. Fantastic food with great service in a cosy restaurant. You do need to book as it is well know by local and others as the perfect place.
