We certainly have a knack for finding great places! 😅 It was a bit of a snag, admittedly, but what a pleasant surprise!
The meal was refined and delicious, the portions generous, and the matelote was a real treat!
And let's not forget our waitress with her infectious sense of humor!
A place to remember… and we'll be back, since our friends live nearby. Highly recommended.

We discovered La Matelote last night and had a wonderful time.
The staff is very welcoming and attentive throughout the entire meal. As for the food, the salads are generous, the tartares delicious, and the frogs' legs live up to their reputation! We will definitely be back. Well done to the whole team!

First experience at the Matelote restaurant, warm welcome and very good food, you eat for your money (personally) we were very well served with different dishes for 3 and generous portions for all. We will return on our next visits to Belleville en Beaujolais.

We ate at La Matelote today and were served by Océane. A big thank you to her for her professionalism; she is very pleasant and was very attentive to our son, who really enjoyed her, and so did we.
