The hotel was immaculate and food delicious. Cannot praise the staff enough-they were helpful, humorous, friendly and so very French !superb! The pool and the setting made this a perfect place to relax and enjoy comfort and food !
We had dinner as day guests. We really enjoyed the starters and the ambience on the romantic garden terrace in the countryside. The service was also excellent. Unfortunately we didn't really like the main courses. All in all, definitely worth a visit.
The setting of the hotel is beautiful. What a pity that on a beautiful sunny evening. They had chosen to set up the tables in the rather stuffy dining room. They appeared to be short staffed so that could be the reason.
The waiter ‘Tomas’ was very cheery and friendly.
The meal, the amuse bouche was very dull, some olives , breadsticks and a piece of pastry ! The veloute glacé starter was delicious. The entree was fine but not exciting. The main course , duck was excellent , however the fish course was not
so good. We didn’t have cheese or dessert. The cheese trolley looked to have a very
good choice.. the coffee and petit fours were
excellent.
