A lovely little gourmet shop in the city center, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat and a drink during a quick break from work or shopping. The staff are friendly, smiling, and offer helpful advice on the various options available. The premises are clean, well laid out, and the small space is well-designed. Highly recommended! 👍

La Grande Brasserie

19/01/2026: A real brasserie, clean, friendly staff, and a great brasserie menu! FANTASTIC! I don't live in Agen, but I wish we had a brasserie like this in town!
14/01/2026: We had lunch at La Grande Brasserie ahead of our train to Paris. The service was impeccable - we had the most pleasant young person serve us, she was very warm, welcoming and polite. We were also greeted by another member of staff, perhaps the head waiter, who was also very welcoming. The food was good, my companion had a greek salad followed by the plat du jour of steak frites. It was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. I ordered the fish and chips and while it was really nice, not the best I've had. I think the fish was frozen, but it was still a nicely presented and tasty plate of food. I would thoroughly recommend this brasserie to anyone, it's so much better than a train station restaurant in the UK, that's for sure!

Univers Pizza

17/09/2026: Everything's there, it's incredible, it just needs a background music track, maybe more prominent or at least more pleasant.
02/09/2026: I happened to be driving by on my way to Agen for a delivery the next day and stopped in front of this pizzeria, which looked quite inviting. As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me, talking about my truck, which was pretty cool. He then showed me to a young waitress, no older than 25. I asked if they could give me a discount on three pizzas to take away, and she smiled and said there was no problem at all. 😁 I placed my order, modifying the three pizzas to my liking without anyone batting an eye. 😊 After a maximum of 10 minutes, someone came to see me at a table where this (still young) waitress had seated me to wait for my order. I went back to my cab and discovered three rather generously topped pizzas that looked more than appetizing. 🤤 Verdict: they live up to their visual appeal, and frankly, for the medium size (which is what I ordered), they seem huge. That's when I realized I should have (like some other reviewers) brought my trusty pizza measuring tape, the one we all obviously have at home (so we can measure the length of pasta or spring rolls in restaurants) 😅. I'm ending this post without a photo, but it doesn't matter because they're absolutely delicious, and the service was incredibly warm 😊. I wholeheartedly recommend this great restaurant in Agen for their pizza 🍕. Thanks to the whole team, we'll be back 😁.
