Excellent place and a superb Welsh rarebit

A little restaurant we discovered by chance, and what a happy accident it was! You can eat inside or on a small, quiet, and charmingly furnished terrace. We chose the terrace, shaded by a parasol. The welcome and service were warm and friendly. We had two excellent and very generous Welsh rarebits, finishing with apple sorbet. Everything was delicious. The prices are more than reasonable. If you're ever in Marquise, don't hesitate to treat yourself at La Mijotière.

The welcome is very friendly. Everything is homemade, using only fresh ingredients. The setting is charmingly rustic. Here, quantity and quality go hand in hand. There's a good selection of wines, even by the carafe. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

We went and honestly, it was fantastic! A restaurant where you're warmly welcomed, plus a super relaxing atmosphere for your meal. The owner and staff are wonderful, and the menus are amazing—so delicious! The prices are really affordable. We're from Belgium, but every time we're in the area, this is where we'll eat. Friendly welcome. Excellent, hearty but easily digestible Welsh rarebit with good value for money. Don't hesitate to mention if you have a specific time to respect, as a family meal was taking place the day we visited and we had a bit of a wait, which prevented us from enjoying one of the desserts that we were really looking forward to! We definitely intend to come back to make up for it!

A warm welcome. A menu that's not too extensive, just right to ensure you get excellent food. It really feels like home. 💖
