I came for lunch today with my son. The setting is magnificent. We ate on the terrace in the sunshine. We ordered two set menus at €22 each. The quality and quantity of the meals were excellent. I highly recommend it.

A cozy and welcoming place. The carpeted floor probably contributes to this; it's quite calm despite all the tables. It feels very comfortable. The piece of beef (hanger or flank steak?) had a bit of fat on it, which was a shame, but the taste was delicious.

The welcome is friendly, the waitresses are attentive to requests not on the menu, the food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. The only slight drawback (which didn't spoil the meal) is the rather long wait between the starter and the main course. A good place to eat.

A very enjoyable experience, and finally a restaurant that offers real whiskies, with a Nikka Coffey grain available for an aperitif. The dishes are beautiful and delicious. 👍 - The "perfect egg" was cooked to perfection, although technically it was more of a baked egg than a "perfect egg" cooked for an hour in the oven at 63°C. Crushed roasted chestnuts could be added on top at the last minute to enhance the Jerusalem artichoke/chestnut pairing. - Regarding the sauce, with the 7-hour beef in cider, it's powerful, has a rich, glossy sheen, and is concentrated... A marvel! 😋 However, I didn't find the cider... It's a shame the sauce isn't thicker in the kitchen so it can be thinned with a little farmhouse cider just before serving. - The sesame crème brûlée is an unusual creation, but so daring and so delicious (for those who like roasted black sesame). In any case, a wonderful discovery of this bistronomic restaurant, which is truly worth a visit! 👍👍👍

I highly recommend it. A very warm welcome, impeccable service, and the cuisine is refined with beautiful presentation. All in a superb setting on the banks of the Vilaine River. A very pleasant surprise; don't hesitate.

We stopped by just for a coffee and dessert. They were closing, but they gave us a very warm welcome even though the kitchen was closed. We still managed to get a delicious cream puff. Very welcoming and a superb place. We highly recommend it.

14/04/2024: J'ai pu apprécier la déco, avec les nombreux bouquins un peu partout, et la relative efficacité du service par la patronne, au sourire quelque peu pincé. A son discrédit, j'ai été quand même assez surpris par le principe qu'elle passe un coup de téléphone perso en plein service. Il n'y avait pas foule à ce moment, mais bon. Quant aux galettes et aux crêpes, c'est la déception pour le grand amateur que je suis. Complète andouille : galette molle, épaisse, assez fade, très peu gouteuse, qui laisse des marques suspectes sur l'assiette. La qualité de l'andouille m'a semblé très douteuse. En parlant de produits, leur origine n'est absolument pas mise en avant, ce qui est dommage à l'heure où les consommateurs aiment bien savoir ce qu'ils mangent. La mention "fait maison", est absente. Les crêpes relèvent un peu le tout. La crêpe poire-amande-chocolat était véritablement noyée sous une énorme boule de chantilly indus. Poire directement sortie de la conserve et même pas réchauffée. Crêpe caramel OK. Mangée en 4 petites bouchées. Dernier point : la carte, qui tient sur 2 feuilles, mériterait d'être sérieusement étoffée. Il y a les ingrédients de base, certes, mais de manière surprenante, pas de pommes caramel, qui me semble au moins aussi incontournable qu'une complète. On dira que ce sera une des nombreuses spécificités de cette crêperie qui semble toutefois contenter beaucoup de clients, mais pas tous, loin s'en faut. Prix corrects.
