We went there as a family for my father's birthday. We had booked in advance, specifying that it was for a special occasion. And we were treated to candles on the cake and a note from all the staff. Absolutely adorable. Otherwise, the service was impeccable. Admittedly, there's a road nearby, but I think that's part of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's charm, and you can hear each other without raising your voice. I recommend this excellent restaurant with its à la carte menu and set menu that reflects the quality and portion sizes offered (if you have a big appetite, go for it without hesitation!).

We ate there twice for lunch in between wine tastings in the village. We had a delicious meal both times. Good and friendly service and good food. The portions were also generous.

A lovely terrace and very competitive prices for the season, especially the lunchtime set menu of starter and main course for €23. We received our aperitifs quickly and chose two cold starters. Unfortunately, these starters arrived more than an hour after our aperitifs! There clearly seemed to be a problem with the service, as we didn't see our waitress for almost 45 minutes. When she returned, she apologized and offered us coffees and a few other treats to make us wait, which we appreciated. We also noticed that several customers were getting their own carafe of water or coffee, even though it was already ready at the counter. A table for six was also left uncleared for quite some time. As for the food, the fish was well-cooked and flavorful, even if the portion was rather small. It's a shame, once again, that the work in the kitchen and the quality of the dishes are partly spoiled by organizational problems in the dining room that ultimately overwhelm the waitresses. A slightly smoother service would really allow us to fully enjoy what the establishment has to offer.

An address that might be appealing because of its name, but whose execution lacks precision. The dinner is decent, but nothing truly memorable. Several details detract from the experience: a clearly burnt French fry left in the serving basket, which could easily have been avoided (shouldn't the fryer oil be filtered or skimmed?), ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard condiments in sticks (nothing outrageous for a brasserie, but they give a sloppy impression), and finally, our table being served after customers who arrived later (particularly frustrating). When it came time for dessert, another disappointment: we were told there was no more vanilla ice cream or Grand Marnier soufflé, even though we were at the beginning of service. Taken individually, these incidents might seem minor. Taken together, they mainly point to a lack of preparation and attention to detail. In a touristy and prestigious location like Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one expects greater control and consistency. A decent experience, but one that leaves the impression the establishment could do much better. Ticket including aperitif (spritz €12) and wine (€16 for 12cl) €68 per person, reasonable.

Well, although I think the previous menus that we see in photos looked more appealing: picodon for dessert, now there is only sweet for dessert, duck burger with orange sauce, asparagus on a bed of stracciatella, vegetable wok, croziflette... For lunch you have to arrive and order by 2:15 pm at the latest.

We had an amazing evening. We ordered a Côte de Boeuf and a hamburger with fries. It was delicious and of really good quality. We also had some famous red wine with our dinner. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.
