An excellent place! The welcome and service are simply superb, with staff who are professional, friendly, and very attentive. As for the food, the ham hock was truly excellent, cooked to perfection, and the meat was incredibly flavorful. The value for money of the set menu is absolutely unbeatable. I will definitely be back; I highly recommend it!

Well, food was absolutely perfect!!!
The absolute highlight of the evening was the meat: exceptional quality, cooked to absolute perfection—incredibly juicy, tender, and rich in flavor.
The service was equally outstanding. Instead of a cold or overly formal atmosphere, we were met with genuine, warm, and attentive hospitality that made us feel instantly welcome. Paired with a charming and delightful setting that perfectly captures the relaxed beauty of a Provençal village, it made for a perfect night.
A rare combination of high-end gastronomy with real heart and character. Highly recommended—I will definitely be returning!

A wonderful discovery in Châteauneuf-du-Pape! 🍷
We had a fantastic time at La Mule du Pape. The ham hock was simply excellent, generous, and flavorful 😋.
But beyond the food, it was the warm welcome and service that we truly appreciated: a team that was available, attentive to their customers, incredibly kind, and above all, had a great sense of humor! 😊
The setting is magnificent, and everything is in place for a very pleasant experience.
A huge thank you to the entire team for your hospitality, your helpfulness, and your good cheer. We will definitely be back! ❤️
The Cognac family 🍷🥰

Efficient service, welcoming and friendly staff. We arrived during peak season, nothing was overlooked, everything was very good for frankly affordable prices.

I had a very good meal, simple but of good quality; the only downside was the long wait.
