27/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery! This charming hotel is located just a stone's throw from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The welcome was perfect; the owners, Camille and Silvio, are very charming and welcoming. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring. You truly feel welcome!
The rooms are rather small and simple, but very pleasant and offer just the right level of comfort. One of our rooms had recently been tastefully redecorated with quality materials. The beds were very comfortable.
The garden and terrace are truly magnificent, with a lovely swimming pool and tasteful outdoor decor. Breakfast is generous and very enjoyable on the terrace when the weather permits, and the interior space is also charming.
We dined there twice and loved the quality of the food. In short, a place to remember.

25/05/2026: We absolutely loved Château des Fines Roches!
We came as a family with our Akita Inu, and everything was perfect from beginning to end. The welcome was exceptional, both for us and our dog; we immediately felt at home.
The location is simply extraordinary, with a magnificent view and a unique atmosphere nestled among the vineyards. The room was superb, very comfortable, and impeccably clean.
The restaurant also deserves high praise: excellent sommelier recommendations, incredible table service—very professional, but above all, warm and welcoming. You can feel the passion of the staff who truly enjoy taking care of their guests.
A perfect experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!

05/05/2026: An incredible historical and natural setting, with a unique view of the vineyards, the Rhône River, the Alpilles mountains, and the Palais des Papes in the distance!
The food was delicious and served in generous portions; I particularly recommend the strawberry cake for dessert.
The hosts are truly welcoming and attentive to their guests; everything seems effortless with them! A feast for the senses.

15/05/2026: I’m referring here to only the restaurant as that’s my only experience here. The service was mostly as expected for a venue of this type. The food, while tasty and visually appealing, was in my view pretentious and underwhelming. Each course lacked the elements to fully satisfy or impress. The wine list was our favorite component and the setting of the restaurant was also exceptional. Sorry to leave a less than perfect score but I want to be honest and constructive. Frankly I think the Michelin emphasis on dainty multi-colored, exotic plates is steering the restaurant industry in a wrong direction.
10/05/2026: A very pleasant fine dining restaurant with a terrace.
Like all fine dining establishments, the bill adds up quickly, but it's very refined, with carefully prepared seasonal cuisine. Reservations are recommended.

05/05/2026: The food is heavily overpriced - quality of food is not good. Steak was tough to jew and swallow, fries were not salted - but still the cost per plate is like an upper middle class restaurant (Steak with fries 28€). Yes it is central but still passion for quality is lacking.

24/07/2024: This place was a well deserved rest stop next to the Chateau ruins. Well shaded with olive trees and offering a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape!
We had a small charcuterie board which was super fresh and just what we needed.
If you are visiting the chateau don’t hesitate to have a stop by at this location!
