La Sommellerie sur Chateauneuf-Du-Pape

What a wonderful discovery! This charming hotel is located just a stone's throw from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The welcome was perfect; the owners, Camille and Silvio, are very charming and welcoming. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring. You truly feel welcome! The rooms are rather small and simple, but very pleasant and offer just the right level of comfort. One of our rooms had recently been tastefully redecorated with quality materials. The beds were very comfortable. The garden and terrace are truly magnificent, with a lovely swimming pool and tasteful outdoor decor. Breakfast is generous and very enjoyable on the terrace when the weather permits, and the interior space is also charming. We dined there twice and loved the quality of the food. In short, a place to remember.

La Sommellerie is a slice of paradise in Provence. Camille, Silvio and the whole team are the perfect hosts, the hotel is beyond beautiful and superbly located. The dinner was fabulous. Extremely happy memories of our stay, and we will be back!

It's an absolutely wonderful place. Elegant yet warm and welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable and at ease in this establishment. All the staff are lovely, smiling, attentive, and accommodating. The rooms are very well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The chef is excellent; he prepared varied and delicious menus for us, using fresh ingredients! We thanked and congratulated him on the subtlety of the flavors and the elegance of the presentation. We loved our stay. Thank you to the entire Sommellerie team for their warm welcome and kindness.

Charming, welcoming, and attentive couple. The hotel was pleasant, quiet, and clean. The breakfast was varied and featured quality products: homemade jams, coconut sugar, whole-wheat bread with seeds... a fruit basket would have been a nice addition. This was our second stay, and we will be back.

We had a perfect 5 night stay. Our room looked out through the plane trees over the pool area. The bathroom is quite modern; the king bed, very comfortable. The hosts, Camille and Silvio did so many extra things to make our stay so comfortable and easy. Their kindness and attentiveness are unparalleled. All of the staff are very friendly and available - and always with a smile. Everyone speaks English. If you are looking for a hotel that welcomes you warmly and continues to meet your every need, this is the place to be. And if you are a cyclist, just across the road is an entrance to the Via Rhona, a long distance cycle path along the Rhône river. Or if you prefer, cycle into the gorgeous vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape.

Perfect place, full of charm. Relaxing. The staff are attentive and friendly. The restaurant menu makes you want to try everything, and it's truly delicious. The breakfast is complete and perfect. Very pleasant room; we slept very well. A place we love to return to every year.
