La Musardine sur Chartres

The waiter was pleasant but overconfident. Orders were taken fairly quickly. Service was prompt after ordering, but empty plates were cleared away before someone had finished their own meal, which was inappropriate. The plates were generously portioned, and the quality of the ingredients was decent. The menu offered a good selection. As for dessert, the lemon tart was too sweet, the Paris-Brest was bland in terms of praline flavor, and the choux pastry was too thick. The bread was served in small beige bags, and what's more, they were reused – not very hygienic. And what a disappointment the restrooms were – unclean, with a loose toilet seat, damp walls, and a missing broom... One has to wonder what the kitchen is like. Prices are reasonable.

A lovely little restaurant! Generous portions! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Chartres.

A fantastic little restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside or inside, but the food is excellent value for money, and the service is impeccable. Definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful family meal! The starters were excellent. The hard-boiled eggs with herb mayonnaise were a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds—kudos for the vibrant use of greens! The gizzard and smoked duck breast salad was also delicious. The main courses were very good. The cooking, sauces, and seasonings were perfect for both the fish and the meat. The crème brûlée was excellent, as was the French toast (so good we forgot to take a picture 😂). And what can I say about the service?! Wonderfully kind, discreet, and efficient! Thank you. This was our second visit to this restaurant, and we will definitely be back. It was truly excellent.

I've been coming to La Musardine for ten years now, and even though I no longer live in the Eure-et-Loir department (28), I go back every time I return to Chartres. Everything is always excellent. Stéphane is always so professional and courteous. I love this establishment: it's clean, the service is quick, and there's never a wait between courses. I highly recommend this restaurant.
