Friendly and attentive service. The food is very good and plentiful. You can sit outside (less comfortable, in my opinion) or in the rustic interior.
I found the prices quite reasonable. I had a starter, main course, dessert, a quarter liter of red wine, and coffee for €47.

Good service, and a big plus is that the menu is available in English on the restaurant’s website. The menu isn’t particularly sophisticated, but the dishes are tasty and well prepared. The restaurant is centrally located, close to the historic cathedral, making it a convenient spot for lunch or dinner.

Stopped in Chartres for one night as part of a motorhome tour of Europe. Wandered around until we found somewhere we liked the look of and this fitted the bill. Probably the best meal we had during the whole trip. Service was excellent and they were very busy as it was a beautiful Friday evening with most people sitting outside. Food and wine were delicious with great sized portions, and the food coming out for everyone else also looked amazing.

While passing through Chartres, we discovered this ideally located restaurant, just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. Its large terrace is very pleasant, especially in good weather.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We chose the Fermier d'Or burger, accompanied by a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) and a Coupe Créole (sundae) for dessert. The burger was generous, with perfectly melted Camembert: a real treat. The desserts were also very good.
The only slight drawback: the prices are a bit high. However, it remains a very good place that I recommend if you are visiting Chartres.

Realllllyyyy good Foie gras.
Luckily I saw the menu online saying they have it.
I dont see it on the english menu. Please ask the waiter.
It was Amazinggg.
Suculent, flavourful, paired perfectly with onions and bread.
Steak (rib eye) was good.
Burger was great and juicy ++
Creme Brulee was perfect ending to our dinner.
