We bought fruit and the biggest freshest firmest aubergines at the open air market here. There's a vibey relaxed sociable atmosphere in this square, nice restaurants too.

The Neptune fountain at Place Carnot is one of the special places to really see and with Place Carnot which has been renovated with its parasols and the facades of the cafés, restaurants and renovated houses it is also very beautiful
