La Nex sur Calais

15/05/2026: A very nice experience, a superb atmosphere, and the table we were given was well-chosen for a group of seven. We had drinks quickly, less than a 5-minute wait. The beer on tap was good, a Castelain 8.5%, I recommend it! We didn't try the starters, but they looked mouthwatering. The main courses were very generous; I had the pink veal liver with homemade mashed potatoes. Everything is homemade, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices, at least eight, including meat, fish, and ABBA (Mamamia Raoum 🎶 🤭). The Irish coffee was good; bring a spoon if you like to eat the whipped cream separately, but it was excellent. The service was friendly and very fast (let them know if you're there to relax and take your time). I recommend it; a great place in Calais Centre compared to the other options nearby.
