La Pagode sur Biguglia

A lovely, entirely open-air restaurant with plenty of seating right on the beach in the San Damiano campsite. The platter of cured meats and typical Corsican specialties was truly delicious, absolutely on par with Italian fare. My son had pizza (he's 8)...we certainly weren't expecting Neapolitan pizza, and we're not particularly critical Italians; in fact, the pizza was very good and loaded with cheese (in Italy, I've had much worse pizzas). The gelato selection was exceptional after a meal; we shared a Kinder Bueno gelato cup, with real Kinder Buenos, which was truly phenomenal. In conclusion, I can say it was a great experience.

Despite the bad reviews here, we ate here. We had two pizzas, a salad, and a children's meal. Everything was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the view was fantastic. I really can't understand the bad reviews here.

Lovely restaurant! The dishes aren't particularly special, but they are tasty and served quickly. The staff do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and visibly enjoy what they do.

Our go-to restaurant this summer! The welcome is warm, the team is fantastic, a family-run business, a lovely setting right on the waterfront, the food is good, the menu is varied, I highly recommend it.

We are regulars at La Pagode, and we are never disappointed. Whether it's the service or the food, everything is perfect, and the staff is always very pleasant.

Their pizzas are truly excellent, with a thin and light crust. I rarely even eat the crust, but this time I ate it without hesitation. The way they're cooked—when there are bubbles and a slightly burnt color—is, in my opinion, the best. The welcome was warm, and the service was quick.

We usually come every year, and this time, despite the lovely setting that improves year after year, the servers are not at all pleasant. The food at the snack bar is good, but there's very little choice. Would we want to go back? Not really... Especially when their neighbors are clearly much friendlier... It's a shame. In short, the main problem is the unpleasant staff.

Very well located, right on the beach, and it's a proper restaurant—quick, generous portions, and delicious. The service is very responsive and attentive. To reach the restaurant's parking lot, you have to enter the campground.

I had entrecote with fries and salad, along with pepper sauce and wine. Everything tasted great, and the price was perfectly reasonable. The service was friendly, fast, and in good spirits – despite the restaurant being packed.

My pizza: very little tomato sauce, capers and anchovies in very small quantities, disappointed. The strawberry Melba, on the other hand, was very good! With an Orangina; €30 is a bit pricey!
