It's just a nice restaurant. Service is good and the owner is also friendly. Pizzas are absolutely fine. They are also often collected. The only downside I found was the hunk of meat. Well cooked, still pink on the inside, but I really expected something different for a sirloin steak.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! We went there twice during our week-long stay in Val Thorens. There were 9 of us and we had a pleasant time at the table. Top-notch cuisine, whether it's the dish of the day or à la carte, with the smile and friendliness of the servers as a bonus! We recommend without hesitation!

We had lunch this afternoon at the hut but it is not the first time, nor the last, that we will come. Honestly, the negative comments are hard to understand. We ordered Burgers which were delicious, with a generous quantity and quality ingredients!

Nous avons découvert un peu par hasard que ce restaurant disposait d’une magnifique terrasse orientée plein-sud. Plats simples (Burgers, pizzas, etc) mais de bonne qualité et à des prix raisonnables. Service impeccable et serveurs très sympas! Ne pas hésiter à y aller!!

La Marmite de Géant

24/08/2024: Do not take into account the opinion of Louis Roule who gave it 1/5 because he was not able to get his free hats even though he certainly ate very well. It’s really pathetic and this review has no place here. Because yes, it’s really very good from the pot and the service is top notch. Continue like this.
23/08/2024: This restaurant is quite large. The servers are attentive and friendly. The pizzas are huge. The Savoyard fondue is good without being extraordinary.

23/04/2024: only downside: Too many off-leash dogs barking at the terrace customers.
17/04/2024: Great family run business. Great food and we like that its self service, with a good selection of hot and cold dishes. fantastic for morning coffee too. Syllvie and the boys are always very welcoming.
