We came yesterday and had a good day, except for the long wait for our meals. We came to relax, not rush, so it wasn't a big deal. The food didn't match our order, and to make matters worse, the fries tasted like they were from the end of a bag—very small pieces of fries and no salad, no sauce 😩. Otherwise, the welcome was great, everyone was super friendly, and it's a fairly family-friendly place. Thank you for the warm welcome, and it's very kid-friendly.

The beach bar, the management, the waiters and the cook (José, the best pizza maker of course)... 10/10! A place I consider the ideal spot to eat and relax by the pool. Other places better watch out, lol.

A consistently excellent welcome (even the dog!), quality cuisine, and a friendly atmosphere! What more could you ask for! Free parking, and for those who want to cool off, the swimming pool is open!

The following recounts a personal experience that I feel compelled to share, much to my regret. For a family meal for a special occasion, the reservation proved complicated from the start. The online reservation time seemed unusual when we called to add someone to the table. I don't mind misunderstandings, but I encourage the managers to check online reservation availability to understand why we encountered this problem. On the day, our group arrived in two waves. The second group, including myself, was a little late and, more importantly, had difficulty finding parking. It's worth noting that the restaurant is very large, encompassing a pool area, terrace, and indoor seating, and the nearby parking capacity is significantly reduced. We ended up having to park near a shop a 5-minute walk away (in the sweltering heat, this detail is important). Admittedly, the crowds were to be expected that day, given the heatwave and the special occasion; nothing surprising there. However, when the second part of the group arrived, the first part still wasn't seated. The reason given was that the entire group needed to be there. While that may be true, and I'm not the one to decide how a restaurant operates since I'm just a customer, it's the first time I've heard this reason. For me, a reservation means a table ready on time, but I could be wrong. So, we need to understand why we're starting off on the wrong foot (leaving aside the minor issue of the reservation). I think it's important to mention that there was a baby a few months old in the group. Then came the moment when I grew impatient and saw another group arrive at the entrance to the terrace and be seated before us. I figured there was clearly a communication or organizational problem. So I moved away from the till (where everyone was rushing around, you can't exactly steal their enthusiasm) and the owner finally said hello. After I explained the situation, he asked for a table to be "prepared" for us (at this point I wondered why we had even made a reservation). The table was then cleaned and prepared in front of us. To summarize the rest: - The menus arrived almost 15 minutes later with apologies from the owner (which he would repeat several times during the meal). - Our order was taken almost 15 minutes after the menu, and things sped up a bit until the main course was served. - Once everyone had finished their meal, we received our plates quite a while later. At that point, we had absolutely no desire to order dessert; we had to leave and were even more fed up with the whole experience. The problem with all of this is a combination of things: - Our table was near a band whose deafening bass made conversation impossible and, combined with the heat, exacerbated our frustration with the wait. - We felt neglected when two groups seated after us (10 to 20 minutes later) were served before our order was taken. - There was a lack of consideration for the fact that we had a baby at our table. - As I mentioned earlier regarding the reservation and the wait. Admittedly, the manager apologized repeatedly and even offered us a complimentary coffee or digestif before we left. Admittedly, it was extremely busy, and admittedly, overall the food was good, and I loved the idea of ​​panisses with squid ink aioli. Unfortunately, these positive aspects weren't enough to ensure we had a good time. We did have expectations and certain requirements, but I must admit that one problem after another made me feel like I'd chosen the wrong restaurant for our family meal. I'm sure some people had a good, even a very good, time that day, and that frustrates me all the more because I wouldn't dare go back and give it another chance.

We organized our son's christening with Damien and his team. In record time, they provided us with a fantastic menu and impeccable organization! From the aperitifs and the food to the pool, everything was perfect and tailored for a family with children, toddlers, and seniors… despite the heat, everyone had a wonderful time. As a result, everyone was thrilled with their day, and we will definitely be back! Thank you again!

Le Mas des Ecureuils

15/04/2026: We had a wonderful time last August at Mas des Écureuils. We found refuge there after a holiday that started in an unsanitary resort. They literally saved our family vacation. Everyone is lovely, from the owners to the housekeeping and kitchen staff, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the food is delicious (special mention for the prawns). A haven of peace, happiness, and serenity, just a stone's throw from Aix-en-Provence. "It was absolutely fantastic," signed Iona. We can't wait to go back.
28/12/2025: Andrea and I stayed at this property immediately after the 2025 Ferragosto holiday, for the second time, and once again we were greeted with truly special hospitality. Claudia, with her kindness and attentiveness, reserved us a beautiful room with a terrace, equipped with all the essential comforts. The location is ideal: a little outside of Aix-en-Provence, yet easily accessible from the city center in less than a quarter of an hour, and with a supermarket nearby. From here, during our motorcycle holiday, we were able to visit wonderful places like Gordes, Lourmarin, Roussillon, and the spectacular Ochre Hills, without sacrificing a day in Marseille and returning to our beloved city of Aix in the evening. The property is surrounded by a beautiful park with tall trees that contribute to a relaxing and protected atmosphere. We also enjoyed an intimate dinner on the terrace, under the moonlight, a truly special moment. There's a beautiful pool and it's a popular but never chaotic property: its compact size allows for total tranquility. There's also a restaurant, but what we cherish most is the feeling of being a refuge, a true oasis of peace. And above all, Claudia's warm, almost affectionate hospitality truly makes all the difference. It was three days of total well-being and relaxation, in a romantic place perfect for couples. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much, Claudia!
