Where to eat in summer in an original setting with very good regional cuisine? The hut of the big pond!!!!

Friendly restaurant with very affordable prices! The food is good, the dishes are filling and the cooking is respected. In short, everything you expect from a restaurant these days.

For the 3rd time we came, it was more than chaotic: a waitress full of good will but overtaking who runs in all directions, other waitresses were absent could have helped, a brazier evening of the most disjointed, no coordination between the cooks, the fried nuggets dish for a 2 year old arrived after many complaints almost 1h30 after our arrival, starters arrived at incredible intervals or even not given, the dishes waited almost 2 hours. Add the rain to that and the lack of lighting and it’s a disaster. Too bad because always excellent products and a fair price. Fortunately the aperitifs were offered to us and thanks to our waitress who did her best.

A not very sunny Sunday at the end of August but quality meal even if the service is a bit 'end of season'. (The neighboring waiter must have broken 2 glasses and 3 cups during our meal alone). The requested bread was forgotten, as was the extra water. Thank you, however, for the friendly welcome, the atmosphere and the quality of the meat and prawns (for very affordable prices)! Have a good end of the season.

Very pleasant and relaxed setting, great service and super friendly staff. Following a small problem in the kitchen we waited a bit for our desserts and one of the two was offered, a very appreciable commercial gesture 👍

Environnement très agréable en terrasse, serveuses souriantes et rapides, repas copieux et de qualité, frites maisons très bonnes, viandes, sauces et pizzas très agréable au palais, bravo, merci pour ce bon moment passé dans votre restaurant !!

Une adresse à retenir ! Les pizzas et la salade du Périgord sont tout simplement excellentes. Le personnel de surcroit est sympathique. Nous reviendrons assurément lors d'un prochain séjour dans cette belle région.
