The dining room was quiet despite the crowd (well soundproofed), the food was high quality and well presented, and the dishes always arrived at the perfect temperature! The servers were very friendly and there was no wait between courses, AND ABOVE ALL, the price was more than reasonable: €15.50 for a set menu (starter/main/dessert). A great find!

A very warm welcome on December 24th. The restaurant was quiet for the occasion. The food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. The service was quick, efficient, and always friendly. The staff were very attentive. Truly excellent. Highly recommended.

For decades, La Paillote has been a quality Asian restaurant. The welcome and service are always very pleasant. The food is always excellent. The only slight drawback is the typical but dated decor.

26/08/2026: For a quick and affordable meal, you've come to the right place. It was nice that we were served by a Dutch person.
02/08/2026: I only moderately enjoyed my experience here. It was just average, as was the welcome I received. The prices are exorbitant, and the food doesn't live up to the price. It's inconsistent. The service was average.

16/08/2026: What a FANTASTIC Japanese restaurant!! The atmosphere was great, very calm and a little dark, which gave it a mysterious feel. The menu mainly consists of different variations of sushi, but there are also ramen and fish rice. The service was super friendly. If you need parking, I suggest the parking lot at Darcy Park. There are always free and inexpensive spaces.
