18/02/2026: Korean barbecue is nothing like Korean barbecue! Except for the barbecue itself, which is okay. The meat is marinated in the European style, not the Asian style. Traditionally, meat is usually served plain. The meat is of decent quality. The marinade is way too heavy. The side dishes? A joke. No vegetables. Just Cantonese rice. Spaghetti. The owner is quite friendly (probably of Vietnamese origin) when he's not insisting on the portion sizes for the all-you-can-eat option! The meal was pretty good, although the meat marinade left a bad taste in my mouth. However, don't call this Korean barbecue.

31/03/2026: We've been going there every year for the past nine years at the end of October. And a few times more. We had the pleasure of returning just before receiving their Michelin star, wishing the team continued success! And they did. So we'll be back with pleasure, as usual, at the end of October. Always new flavors, discoveries, innovative presentation, always a feast for the eyes and the palate. The tobacco dessert was surprising, disconcerting, but definitely worth a visit!

29/03/2026: Spending three hours in this place was pure bliss. Everyone involved (chefs, servers, etc.), like musicians, played their part flawlessly. We were lucky to be seated right next to the counter where the chef was preparing her desserts. Everything was perfect. Best wishes for the future. I can't wait to go back and discover a new seasonal menu.

06/04/2026: A completely unacceptable and humiliating experience. I was filming my friend, a DJ I know personally, who had absolutely no objections. My goal was to prepare a short video for the club's anniversary in two days. There was no information, no sign, no warning: nothing indicated that filming was prohibited. Even if internal rules exist, staff must follow a minimum procedure: inform them before taking action. Yet, without any explanation, security literally carried me out and escorted me as if I were a criminal, even though I was about to leave, wearing only a coat, and posed no threat whatsoever. Even the DJ was shocked. I reserve the right to file an official complaint for disproportionate use of force against an innocent woman. This treatment is absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable.

17/04/2026: "Charming" gets so overused, but I can't think of a better description for Le Carpe Diem. Here's everything you need to know: I was the only person speaking English there. Everone else? En Fracais. The hostess and I were able to bridge the linguistic gap with my smattering of French and her grand command of English. My reward? A succulent Boeuf Bourguignon that was melting off my fork, and a sauce that took a basket of bread to soak up. The fresh root vegetables were allowed to show off their natural flavors and were perfectly cooked, being soft without being mushy. Oh yeah, the bill, including two glasses of an excellent Cote du Hermitage? 50 Euro. Yeah, this would have been a $100+ meal in the States. So, amazing food, amazing service, amazing price? That's 5 stars well-earned right there.

27/03/2026: On March 26, 2026, during our European tour starting from Turkey, we began searching for a place to have dinner in Dijon, one of our stops. We chose this restaurant because it was said to serve Turkish food. First, I asked, "How are the pide (Turkish flatbreads), are they like the ones in Türkiye?" The owner said yes. Trusting him, I ordered. What arrived was a dough about 2 centimeters thick, topped with a thin layer of fatty minced meat. It had nothing to do with pide. I complained to the owner, but received a response along the lines of, "That's how it is here, and meat has become very expensive." I expected some compensation. We tried to fill our stomachs by scraping off the minced meat layer. In short, this place, which we went to by walking 3 kilometers from the hotel to the city center solely because it was a Turkish restaurant, was an extreme disappointment. We paid 15 euros per person for dough and returned to the hotel. Money isn't easy to earn; everyone wants their money's worth, and we didn't get it. Let's also mention the good points: The lentil soup was very good, the broth of the lamb's head soup was delicious, and there was very little lamb's head meat in it.

15/03/2026: While passing through Dijon, we had lunch at Akdeniz: we appreciated the friendliness and welcome, the choice of different menus, and the very affordable price-quality ratio. The dishes were well-prepared and delicious. A very pleasant place!
