Passing through Sète to get some Tielles (a local savory pie), I stopped for a snack.
A very ordinary snack bar, like you see everywhere. The prices are reasonable, but one thing struck me.
The self-service sauces were expired (best before May 2025). For your information, this was in August!
I mentioned it discreetly and politely to the person in the kitchen, who replied:
"No, they're still good," and put them back on the shelves.
