La Palméa sur Mandelieu-La-Napoule

I came with my father exactly one week ago. We were able to book a table for 8:30 pm and arrived early. Once seated, we placed our order, and the servers weren't intrusive, rushing around every two minutes to take our order. Here, everyone takes their time, and it's PERFECT! For my father and me, the bill came to around €190. I had the lobster casserole (€60), and my father had a John Dory fillet (€40-50). We also ordered two glasses of wine, a beer, and a whisky as aperitifs. The main courses were delicious without being too heavy, enough to leave room for dessert. The desserts were also delicious. I had the lemon meringue tart, and honestly, the lemon wasn't too acidic; it was just perfect. The atmosphere was incredible, even though the restaurant is on the side of the road. That didn't stop us from having a wonderful time! I recommend it to anyone wanting to try an original culinary experience, one that you don't find everywhere. The prices are slightly high, but I didn't mind paying for 5/5 service, a 5/5 atmosphere, etc.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The service, provided by a particularly pleasant head waiter, was distinguished by its constant attentiveness and attention to detail, perfectly meeting all our needs. The menu remains intentionally classic, but it showcases high-quality ingredients, which makes all the difference. Special mention goes to their signature dish, the langoustine fritters, which I particularly enjoyed. The dining room is also very well designed, offering a pleasant and elegant setting. With each visit, we find the same level of excellence and quality, which is always very much appreciated. Well done to the entire team!

Overall, it was satisfactory. But it's a shame the pastry chef retired. Goodbye to the soufflé. The desserts are more ordinary. Furthermore, it would be much nicer if the tables weren't cleaned with a smelly product while you're enjoying your sole.

Good restaurant in a very pleasant area. The products are fresh and of high quality. The service is a little slow as everything is prepared to order.

The price was a bit high for the quality. We were promised an exceptional bouillabaisse, and it was indeed good, but the price was a little steep. It's a shame the broth wasn't hot enough. The €6 bottle of still water is also a bit excessive.

A must-try restaurant in Mandelieu-La-Napoule. We've been several times and it's always been excellent, both the service and the food. Very good value for money, especially for lunch. On Fridays, I recommend the bouillabaisse. The fish dishes are delicious and perfectly cooked, not overcooked at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, although the food seemed a touch rich due to the use of oil, cream, and butter—though that's also part of the charm of French cuisine.
