La Part des Anges sur Segur-Le-Chateau

Five of us came to this charming little town and found this gem of a restaurant. So quaint and a beautiful outside terrasse where we found a table overlooking the stream. Downstairs is an outdoor setting with a number of tables as well. We just had entrees, but having seen the mains, we thought we’d like to return for a bigger lunch. The foie gras was excellent and a very generous serving. I had the tomatoes with mozarella and pesto, and another of our party had the millefeuille courgettes. All washed down with a glass of rosé. Oh, and the service was excellent and friendly.

Warm welcome, refined and generous cuisine, all you need is to spend a very pleasant time near the Auvézère which winds nearby, in this village classified among the most beautiful in France. Restaurant to recommend

A beautiful setting on the terrace of one of France's most beautiful villages. From the moment we arrived we were pampered. Service was friendly, professional and left nothing to be desired. The food was just as good as the decor! Undoubtedly the best foie gras I have ever tasted. I would love to come back!!!

Beautiful place, worth the detour

It felt so wonderful to sit on the terrace for lunch here. It's such a dreamy location, by the river in the fairy tale picturesque village of Segur-le-Chateau. The food was superb. I especially enjoyed the dessert which was a shell of rich dark chocolate complementing the tangy sweet mango mousse inside. Perfection. The waiter was very efficient and also kind. He helped carry our friends wheelchair down the steps when leaving.

We came for lunch and were served by William Defoe! A family run restaurant in one of the original 10 prettiest French Beaux Villages, definitely worth a visit. I had the mushroom starter and fish, and my friends had the entrecôte all of which were delicious. We had crumble and ice cream for desert which was fab!
