Local produce and Béarn cuisine take center stage. Special mention goes to the lamb sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms: an explosion of flavors. Everything is excellent. Turmeric bread is also available. The children's menu is perfect and a welcome change from the usual industrial chicken nuggets and fries. We loved it. All this with the cathedral as a backdrop.

Excellent service and welcome. However, the final bill of €150 for two people (including a €28 bottle of wine) was far too high for the quantity and quality of the dishes, especially considering the €35 charge for a beef skewer with five new potatoes and a few salad leaves. The baby squid starter was disappointing at €11; the squid were presented in strips and were a small portion. However, the beef gravlax was very good and flavorful. The dessert (café gourmand) was disappointing, very bland and lacking in taste. It's a shame because the historic setting opposite the church is very pleasant.

A truly excellent restaurant; if you're ever in the area, go without hesitation. We had a baby squid salad and prawns as main courses, and a tiramisu and a trifecta—everything was delicious. 😋

Le Loft Café

11/09/2026: We went there for lunch because we were passing through the area and saw that the restaurant could be booked online. Very good food and excellent service from all the staff. I really liked the fried chips. They had a special taste. They were out of duck breast, so we will have to go back one day to try it.
30/08/2026: A wonderful experience this Friday at lunchtime on the terrace. Warm welcome, quick service, excellent daily special, dessert, and IPA on tap. The value for money is also good. For me, one of the best restaurants in Oloron Sainte Marie for lunch. I'll definitely be back, and perhaps in the evening (I've never tried it in the evening).

14/08/2026: We love their savory crackers; we always stop there for a bite. It's perfect for going with children; they provide drawings and crayons for them to color while they wait.
